Question by jaggernaut101: spark plug is getting ate up?

I have a mini bike (pocket rocket) and every time I put a new spark plug in something tears it up. It’s like something is smashing it. Could someone please help…

If it looks like something is hitting it (side, bent electrode smashed down against center electrode), the the “reach” is too long, and you need a shorter plug length.

If something is “smashing” your spark plugs, there are only 2 things that would cause this….
1 you have the wrong length spark plug (too long)
OR
2 You have a bad rod bearing and/or wrist pin bushing, allowing the piston to travel too far upward and hit the plug

This Pocket Bike Has a 12V Battery Terminal, Can I Plug It into a Wall Outlet?

Question by Deo V: This Pocket Bike has a 12V battery terminal, can I plug it into a wall outlet?

This pocket bike takes a rechargeable 12V battery, can I plug the bike directly into the wall outlet using a 12V battery charger so that the bike pulls power directly out of the wall? Just to test if my battery is the cause of the bike not starting? If not, how would I check If the original battery is bad? I don’t have any special instruments that would help me tell.

hook the battery charger up to the +- terminals, thatll do you.the guage on the charger should read atleast 2 amps.if it reads none, replace the battery.
