I’m about to build a miniature mini cooper (I know what you’re thinking… How more mini can it get??)
hehe, its going to be mini enough to fit me barely :p
so can I drive it on the street?!? (like not high way but normal streets)
and also, its perfectly legal to drive it on the sidewalk right!??!!?
its gonna have a pocket rocket or go kart engine, like 49cc
any thoughts?

Maybe if you’re driving it in a parade or something, but not at any other time.
It’s the same as a go-cart. Not legal to be operated on public streets or sidewalks. You can only drive it on private property, with the property owner’s permission.

Hmmmmmm…..I’m picking up that you live in the Cook Islands, so yes, all you need is a license plate, which is easy to get.

If you are in the UK you will need to have the finished project inspected by the ministry of transport and verified as complying with construction and use regulations. Once that is done you will have to get it insured and taxed. Then it will be completely street legal. It will have to be street legal for you to use it on ANY public road for ANY purpose. Under no circumstance will you be able to use it on the footpath unless you can get it registered as a mobility scooter.

It’s never legal to drive anything on the sidewalk.
Can’t even ride a bicycle there.
