Instead of getting false information or an answer that makes you feel good call your local Police Station and ask them. You will only get false information here on Yahoo! Answers. Go to the source and use Common Sense.

It still qualifies as a vehicle,….. unless the route to the store is on private property, you can be cited. (you are a minor… your folks would be cited)
That includes the sidewalk, as that is also public property. …. sorry.

no its electric and people ride them alot so it isnt illegal if it is u can always stop by ur local secretary of state and get a moped liscence for it.i had a gas mini bike and everyone would bitch how loud it was in your case its electric so no exhaust means quiet and tho i never got pulled over for riding it in the streets.

Thanks for going green, but it’s still illegal to ride without a license on the street and that is not going to happen in these circumstances.

Purchasing a conversion kit for your bike is probably your best bet. Conversion kits from http://www.werelectrified.com/Default.asp?Redirected=Y are efficient and very affordable Under CA state law they fall under the following category:
: To be legal on Oregon public roads, they must fit one of the definitions in the state’s laws.
Riders must be at least 16 years old.
Use of these vehicles also may be restricted in cities, counties, parks, bike lanes, crosswalks, sidewalks and other locations and situations.
Mopeds must be titled and registered, but Oregon law specifically exempts motor-assisted scooters, electric assisted bicycles, and personal mobility devices from title and registration requirements
