You could probably get the pull start to fit pretty easy because it’s just a string with a handle on it.
The carb COULD work if you somehow managed to fit it properly to the bike so no air could leak into the engine and make it run poorly.

Once you get the carb fitted, you would have to adjust it so the bike would run good.

Where Does the Oil Line Go on a Pocket Mini Bike Cag Carb?

Question by predhead33: Where does the oil line go on a pocket mini bike cag carb?

I bought an engine online and can’t seem to find any details about where the oil line goes into the cag carb. I found where the gas goes, but not where the oil goes. Thanks

Welcome to the world of chinese junk pocket bikes!

You are probably not going to have much luck. There are no service manuals for pocket bikes, and no customer support. When you buy them, they are DIY, and if you dont know how, you are going to be stuck with a 300 dollar paperweight.

Lesson learned.

Pocket Bikes | Beginner Mods

This is a list of mods you can do to your pocket bike if you’re on a budget, or you are new to the sport and looking to give your pocket bike that first extra kick.

Probably the most effective per dollar upgrade you can get is a timing key. For about $20, a timing key can increase your pocket bikes engines timing by 10 degrees. Be aware that this will increase performance on some engines, but can also decrease performance in others depending on what the factory set timing is.

Replace your stock metal reed with a high performance Fiberglass one. Fiberglass reeds allow more and faster fuel into the carb, this resulting in a faster burning of fuel, which increases low, mid and top end power. A fiberglass reed will cost about $20-$30.

If your bike came with a black air cleaner instead of an air filter, its loosing potential power, by adding a high performance air filter and vstack, your allowing more and faster air into your engine, which will increase performance and engine life. Typically $30-$40.

One of the most important things that should be considered when buying modifications is your fuel filter. A Hi Flow Fuel Filter will run you about $7 to $15 and protects your engine from harm by dirt, plastic, and other debris. It is a must for every bike. Check your fuel line if it comes with a fuel filter, if not get one, otherwise dirt and other foreign objects will get inside your fuel and block your carb.

A good set of HP clutch springs will make your acceleration a lot better over stock and coming out of corners etc, you will have a lot more power for only $15 to $25. All CAGS come with 3 shoe clutches, the major let down with these clutches are the springs.

If you have general engine knowledge or instructions, these mods make for a very good starting point to modifying your pocket bike. When installing these mods, the flywheel, clutch, and carb must be removed first. If you have any doubts about whether you know what you’re doing, you could visit a pocket bike repair shop and they would gladly do the install for a small fare.
