fast is a relative term…. 150MPH is fast for a motorcycle..

mini bike… 40 MPH is fast

go cart.. 100MPH plus

scooter… 30 MPH.. to 100MPH depending on size..

under $ 200………. maybe an old post office scooter..

You will not find one for sale in any business.
Pocket bikes are made in China and are cheap junk. They break down early and often.
Pocket bikes are merely motorized toys.
Hope you are aware the ONLY place to ride a pocket bike is on private property. For most that will limit your riding to the parent’s driveway.
Don’t waste your money. Buy a bicycle.

Im looking to import some 50cc motorbikes that are road legal like scooters but “look like” street bikes so they can be ridden on car licence but look cool unlike scooters/step through type.

Road Legal where? in the US? If it was legal it’d be done by now. again in the US you’d have to go thru the Federal Highway Safety Institute for your bikes to be certified street legal. At 50cc they’d not have the power to get out of their own way. You’d have to start with a 4 stroke to meet EPA requirements. We’re no longer free to do as we please here in America If your idea was feasible why wouldn’t Honda be doing it?

There is a company that makes mopeds that look alright. I’m not sure what the brand name is but I saw them at the Dodge dealer in Gravenhurst, Ontario, Canada. Perhaps you can search these bikes to see if they meet your needs.

Pocket bikes are generaly cheap crap knocked up in china in theyre billions, they are very poor quality and will pretty much fall apart as you are riding them. You will not be able to find replacent parts.

probably not. It usually needs to meet DOT and CARB regs, even if 50cc
(lighting and emissions) you may get away with it for awhile, depends how well police who stop you know law

I have a question about those little electric mini motorcycles (=]) that I’ve seen once at a “friend’s” house. Where can I get one for a cheap price? I’m 11 and want it to be cheap for my parents, or cheap for me to “invest” =). Here’s one I’m considering from ToysRus.com :

save up your money untill you can afford a gas powered one,you’ll be tired of this toy before you have to recharge it the first time,you only get a 45 minute ride (on level ground)then have to wait 4-6 hours for it to recharge,think about it

I have 2 little pocket rockets, they are very slow,i am 17 and want to customise my own bike, weld the frame and all, i has restored a mini cooper from scratch so i know a little bit about cars. My dad is a mechanical engineer and has all the tools necessary, i just want to know if it is possible to combine two of the 50cc engines to make a 100cc powered pocket rocket. My dad would probably know but i want to do it myself, because he would intervine and try to do it for me lol

There are a lot of ways you can do that. You can create a single crankcase and graft the two cylinders/head onto that, you can couple the two engines together into a single drivetrain. Either way, you are going to have to be creative and learn how to machine new parts.

Look online. There are many examples of both of the ideas above and maybe your creativity will come up with a new method.

I’ve had my pocket bike for a while now and I don’t know why it dose not want to turn on any more. The piston is working, the filter kit is good, everything is good. But for some reason it dose not take in the gas I think, because usually you could see the gas getting sucked in by the motor. and before I had this problem it would take me up to a minute for it turn on, I had to hold to the electric start for a long time. And I was wondering if any one knows whats the problem?

Here’s the basics, you need:
1. Air, pretty much a given unless airfilter is plugged up
2. Fuel, gas in tank, gas to carb, carb with no plugged jets
3. Compression, I’ll guess about 80psi for that engine
4. Spark occuring at correct time.

If you have those things the engine will run.

Make sure gas is getting in the carb, the carb must be sucking the correct amount of air and there should be gas in the gastank(obviously) and the sparkles on time

to answer your question the fairing you are asking about is a full fairing.
now the part you are not going to like that pocket bike is a piece of junk.
do not waste your money. that bike is not street legal. it can not be ridden on the sidewalk. the only place you can ride it is up and down your driveway. if you get caught riding a pocket bike on the street you will be given a ticket and your bike will be impounded.

First off a pocket bike is not legal anywhere period except on private property with the owners consent so no license is available or necessary.For a moped you must have a valid class license to operate it on any roadway.

At 14 you might be able to ride a ‘Moped’ on roads in a few states- Iowa and Arkansas come to mind- that will issue permit at 14 or don’t require license for restricted moped like New Jersey. Disclose state and maybe someone can point you to the DMV website- or check your local police.

Gas starts to ‘go off’ after about 2 weeks. If you start and ride it more frequently than that you should be OK. If not it is a good idea to drain tank and run until the carb is empty ( it revs up a bit and cuts out)
The chain needs lube before it gets dry but not so often it flies off everywhere, thats your call.

They are the source of a lot of problems. Between being cheaply made and regulations regarding where they can be ridden they aren’t worth the bother. They were a hot commodity a few years ago but have fallen out of favor due to all the problems.

You can’t do anything with them.
Ride it up & down the block, in front of your house.
About as much fun as a ride on lawn mower.
Save your money and buy a small dirt bike 80cc
Transmission, fast, big wheels & suspension allow you to ride anywhere.
Sand pits, wood trails, hills, Motocross tracks, across streams, jump through the air – you can’t do any of that with a pit bike.

You could probably get the pull start to fit pretty easy because it’s just a string with a handle on it.
The carb COULD work if you somehow managed to fit it properly to the bike so no air could leak into the engine and make it run poorly.

Once you get the carb fitted, you would have to adjust it so the bike would run good.
